Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Mint Rewards is a rewards platform operated by Mynte Systems, LLC (“Mint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that enables eligible users to earn points for qualifying sustainable actions and other approved activities and redeem those points through participating businesses or other Mint-approved options. By creating an account, accessing, or using Mint Rewards, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility, Accounts, and User Roles

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The platform supports customers, participating merchant owners and authorized representatives, merchant staff, and Mint administrators. You must provide accurate registration information, safeguard credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access.

Each individual may maintain one customer account unless Mint authorizes otherwise. Merchant and staff access is limited to permissions assigned by Mint and the relevant merchant. Access to an administrative function does not authorize use beyond assigned responsibilities. Separate signed merchant agreements govern merchant-specific commercial commitments.

3. Earning and Verifying Points

Mint may award points for approved activities, including eligible material returns, reusable-container actions, merchant participation, events, and sponsored campaigns. The number of points available, qualification criteria, limits, and verification requirements will be communicated through the app or approved campaign materials.

Mint may require QR codes, one-time codes, photographs, equipment data, or staff confirmation. Mint may delay or deny issuance when verification is incomplete, inaccurate, duplicative, or fraudulent.

Mint may pause new point issuance when a pilot or campaign budget is exhausted and will display the pause in the app. Mint will honor points for a qualifying activity completed before the app indicated that issuance was paused, subject to verification and fraud controls.

4. Point Value and Redemption

Mint Points are promotional program rewards, not cash, bank deposits, or a general-purpose payment account. They cannot be withdrawn for cash, sold, or transferred between accounts unless Mint expressly authorizes it.

Mint does not establish a fixed point-to-dollar conversion rate in these Terms. Applicable redemption values, available rewards, minimums, purchase exclusions, transaction limits, and other material restrictions will be displayed in the app or applicable program materials before redemption and, where relevant, before you complete an earning activity.

Points may be redeemed only through then-available Mint-approved methods and locations. Gift cards or certificates are available only when specifically offered; separately issued rewards may carry additional terms and legal protections. No redemption is complete until confirmed by Mint’s system.

5. Universal Network and Participating Merchants

Points are administered by Mint and are not tied to the merchant where they were earned or to the sponsor that funded an activity, except where a clearly disclosed campaign-specific restriction applies. Participating merchants and redemption options may change. Merchants independently determine their products, services, prices, and fulfillment, subject to agreed program rules. Mint does not guarantee that any particular merchant or reward will remain available. If other redemption locations remain available when a merchant departs, valid points stay in your account and may be redeemed at those locations.

6. Merchant Departure and Transition

If a participating merchant stops accepting Mint Points, Mint will notify affected users by email.

If the departing merchant is the only available redemption location, Mint will provide a transition period of at least 60 days during which you may redeem valid outstanding points at that merchant. Mint’s email notice will state the start and end dates of the transition period and the eligible redemption methods. Mint may suspend new point issuance associated with that merchant during the transition.

If another Mint-approved redemption option becomes available before the transition period ends, unredeemed points will remain in your account. Otherwise, points not redeemed by the end of the transition period will expire.

If the departing merchant cannot honor redemptions for the full transition period (for example, because it closes unexpectedly), Mint will notify affected users by email and either extend the redemption period or provide an alternative way to redeem valid points for the remainder of the period.

7. Sponsored Campaigns and Pilot Programs

Sponsors may fund approved activities or rewards, and merchants may accept Mint-funded redemptions under separate arrangements. Sponsor funding does not give a sponsor ownership of a user’s Mint account or permit a sponsor to cancel otherwise valid points by ending its campaign. Specific promotions may carry clearly disclosed eligibility, timing, budget, or redemption restrictions.

Mint may run limited pilots with designated locations, point allocations, or durations. Commercial budgets, reimbursement obligations, and settlement terms are governed by separate agreements, not by these Terms.

8. Expiration, Program Changes, and Discontinuation

Mint Points do not expire, except as described in Section 6. Mint may introduce prospective expiration rules or modify program features, redemption options, and point values with reasonable advance notice by email. Changes affecting already-earned points will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the representations made when those points were earned.

If Mint discontinues the program, Mint will notify affected users by email and describe the treatment of valid outstanding points, which may include a redemption window, an alternative redemption option, or another lawful resolution.

Except as described in Section 6, Mint will not delete valid points because a merchant leaves or a sponsor ends funding.

9. Customer Account Closure

You may request account closure by contacting Mint. Before closure, Mint will communicate your remaining point balance and any consequences of closing your account.

Unredeemed promotional points may be forfeited upon voluntary account closure, as permitted by applicable law and disclosed program terms.

Mint may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, security risks, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these Terms, subject to reasonable review. Closure does not erase obligations that arose before closure.

10. Merchant Owners and Authorized Representatives

Merchant owners and representatives must have authority to enroll and manage their business. They must provide accurate business information, designate authorized staff, promptly remove access when staff leave, and comply with applicable laws and their separate merchant agreement. They may not change point balances, issue unauthorized rewards, or represent that Mint has approved a campaign without authorization. Commercial obligations, including reimbursement, fees, hardware, pilot duration, and termination, are governed by a separate written merchant agreement.

11. Merchant Staff

Merchant staff may use Mint only for assigned merchant operations. Staff must verify qualifying activities honestly, record redemptions accurately, protect account and customer information, avoid sharing logins, and report discrepancies or suspected misuse. Staff may not issue points to themselves or others for fabricated transactions, bypass controls, or access customer information unrelated to their duties. Merchant administrators must promptly revoke access when staff no longer require it.

12. Mint Administration and Program Integrity

Mint controls platform configuration, approved earning activities, campaigns, verification requirements, point issuance, reward availability, reconciliation, and fraud controls. Authorized Mint administrators may investigate discrepancies, correct erroneous balances, reverse points issued in error or through fraud, and restrict access where reasonably necessary. Administrative actions must be taken for legitimate operational purposes and consistent with applicable law, privacy commitments, and the dispute process below. Mint will maintain appropriate transaction records and apply reasonable safeguards against unauthorized changes.

13. Prohibited Conduct and Fraud

Users may not create duplicate or fraudulent accounts; fabricate returns, purchases, photographs, or other evidence; manipulate QR codes, one-time codes, or balances; exploit software errors; impersonate staff; attempt unauthorized access; or use the platform unlawfully. Mint may investigate suspected misuse, withhold questionable awards, correct records, and suspend access as reasonably justified. Users may dispute account and points decisions under Section 19.

14. Photos, Verification Data, and Privacy

Mint and authorized merchant personnel may review submitted photos and verification data to administer rewards, validate activities, and prevent misuse. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or images you are not authorized to share. Mint will not publicly use verification photos in marketing without appropriate permission. Collection, sharing, retention, and user rights concerning personal information are described in Mint’s Privacy Policy, which should be made available alongside these Terms.

15. Communications

Mint may send essential account, verification, security, transaction, redemption, and material program-change communications. Marketing emails and text messages are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Consent to marketing text messages is not required to create an account. Users may opt out of marketing while continuing to receive necessary service communications.

16. Intellectual Property

Mint and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, brand, program structure, and related materials. Mint grants authorized users a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the platform in compliance with these Terms. Merchants retain their own trademarks and business materials. No ownership of either party’s intellectual property is transferred by use of the app.

17. Availability and Third-Party Services

Mint aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, connectivity, machine malfunctions, merchant operations, and third-party services may affect availability or verification. Users should report unresolved point or redemption discrepancies to Mint. Mint is not the seller of independent merchants’ products and does not control their ordinary business operations.

18. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without implied warranties. Mint is not responsible for independent merchants’ goods, services, or conduct. To the extent permitted by law, Mint is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Users agree to indemnify Mint against third-party claims caused by their unlawful misuse or material violation of these Terms, to the extent legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

19. Disputes, Governing Law, and Venue

For questions or disputes about accounts, point balances, merchant transactions, or administrative decisions, contact admin@mintrewards.eco with relevant details. Mint will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes informally within 30 days. If unresolved, claims may be brought in state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, subject to mandatory consumer protections and applicable law; eligible matters may be filed in small claims court. Texas law governs these Terms except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

20. Updates to These Terms

Mint may update these Terms as its services and merchant network evolve. Mint will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes by email. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where legally permitted; Mint will obtain affirmative consent when required. Material changes affecting points already earned remain subject to Section 8 and applicable law.

21. General

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms and applicable disclosed program rules govern platform use. Separate written merchant agreements control merchant-specific commercial obligations if there is a conflict. Users may not transfer accounts without Mint’s authorization. Mint may assign these Terms in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
